Spring Terrace - London, TW9

GEORGIAN GRADE II COMPLETE REDESIGN

Collaboration with Richmond Green Developments.

The property had been divided into various council offices and the brief was to create a spacious family home with a contemporary feel whilst still maintaining the period integrity. The existing basement was greatly enlarged to provide a cinema room, office and a granny flat with a separate entrance.

On the ground floor, planning permission was obtained for a new glass extension to house a light-filled kitchen/dining room. Additionally, two reception rooms were converted into one large drawing room. This was achieved by a complete structural redesign, adding new coving and bespoke joinery, as well as two new fire places and double doors at the centre of the room. Specially designed Versailles-patterned, stained oak floors were installed throughout the ground floor and master suite on the first floor.

The master suite was formed by joining two bedrooms at the first-floor level. We designed the built-in wardrobes to act as a divider between the bedroom and the en-suite.
